SUCCESS AT THE GAME FAIR

The Game Fair is described as the annual gathering for people passionate about countryside pursuits and the Great British Countryside. A celebration of rural life and the beauty of the British landscape. A huge part of the event is the gundog competitions and one of the most hotly contested is the ‘Home International Team Competition’. We were pleased to hear from Carnilove Ambassador Laura Hill (Stauntonvale Gundogs) that they had a very successful outing to the Game Fair this year.
“We ran as part of the England Gundog Team at the Home International competition at the Game Fair this weekend. The four Home Nations compete their 5 best spaniels and 5 best retrievers over the two days. There is always plenty of friendly rivalry! I am pleased to report that the England Team took the overall victory this year. Not only that, but Brae (FT CH Jarailstar Hogen of Stauntonvale) was top scoring Retriever and also highest scoring individual dog overall. I’m absolutely delighted with how he ran, particularly as we were first dog on, which is always more difficult, as later handlers get to see the course and the scenting conditions. He took the arena environment in his stride and made some challenging scenarios look easy.
Feeding Carnilove True Fresh keeps Brae in prime condition. He not only looks great but his musculature and overall structure is well supported, which means we avoid injuries. Correct nutrition is such an important component in what we do, as we expect so much from our working dogs.”
