Kimono Wrap Gift Wrapping Tutorial for Dogs
This kimono-style wrap is sure to impress, and it makes unwrapping the treats a fun experience for your hound. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you achieve this:
Materials Needed:
- Brown paper (provided in wrapping package)
- Scissors
- Double-sided tape
- Gift Tag or embellishment (avoid any choking hazards)
- A Bag of Carnilove Dog treats to wrap
- Carnilove Dog treats to layer in between
Method:
- Cut the brown paper – measure your brown paper to be large enough to fully wrap the bag of dog treats with extra for the kimono layer. Add about 4 inches of width on each side for the folding design
- Position the treat bag – place the treat bag in the center of the paper
- Create the base wrap – fold the top edge of the paper down and over the treat bag. Secure it with a very small tab of double-sided tape
- Form the kimono sleeves – fold each side of the paper inward diagonally, creating a triangular overlap over the treat bag. Insert the odd treat as you go along. Secure the last folded edge with tape
- Neatly fold over the open end and secure with double sided tape
- Final embellishments – add decorative accents, like a small tag with the dog’s name or a stamped paw print. In this tutorial I’ve cut out a dog bone and added the name.
